خلاصه مقاله:
One of the best methods for determining the mechanical behavior of materials is theapplication of simple compression test. During the test, the specimen is compressed, and deformationversus the applied load is recorded. The compression test is used to determine compressive flowcurve. In this paper tried to attend the mechanical behavior of AZ91 magnesium alloy under simplecompression test. The experimental tests were performed at the elevated temperatures and differentstrain rates. Simple compression tests are also carried out on the standard specimens at the mentionedconditions. The effects of barreling phenomenon are corrected using bulge correction factor and aresimulated using finite element software. Also T-shape compression test is used to evaluate frictionparameter at high temperatures.
