خلاصه مقاله:
This research was carried out to study feeding ecology and selection of live food inPersian sturgeon (Acipenser pesicus) fries by sampling of zooplankton, benthose ofearthen ponds as well as stomach content of fries in the Shahid Marjani sturgeoncenter of Gorgan in spring 2013. The dominate food of ponds organisms wereDaphni, Diaptomus, Chironomidae and Naupli in terms of abundance, whereasDaphni, Diaptomus and Chironomidae found selected food items based on stomachcontent. Rotifer and naupli not observed in the stomach content. During. .the.sampling, electivityindex of Daphni was positive and fries actively feed them.There was a relationship between Daphni and Naupli abundance and food selection,while there was not a positive correlation between benthos abundance and foodselection.
