This study suggests ZrO2/MWCNT nanoparticles as sensitive electrochemical sensor to determine Pb2+and Cd2+ ions simultaneously. Similar electrodes of nanoparticles of ZrO2 and MWCNT were prepared tocompare the electrodes in analysis. The detection was made using a differential pulse voltammetry (DPV)technique. The ZrO2/MWCNT/CPE modified electrode represent a linear range of 4× 10-6 – 10-4 M andlimits of detection 3× 10-6 and 1.3× 10-5 M for Pb2+ and Cd2+.
