reached at 170 C steaming temperature and 5 minutes steaming time. Lowest thickness swelling after 2 and 24 hours soaaaking in water (30% and 35.4% respectively) were reached aat ; 70 C steaming temperature and 10 minutes steaming time. Mechanica/cal properties of MDF boards made of Saxaul wood' showed lower values compared with deciduous woods.The low strength properties of this wood is due to the short fibers.Furtheremore another factor affecting the lower strength properties of this board is the type of refiner used in this study.
