خلاصه مقاله:
Vessel engines always generate vibrations and stress in the ship by introducing unwanted forces. In this research, the efficiency increase in the design of a float engine building is investigated. As a result, by reducing the stress on it, cracking or fracture can be prevented, on the other hand, increasing the ability of a structure to withstand stress may increase its mass. Therefore, optimization was used to reconcile the two objectives in this study. In this process, the objective of optimization is to reduce the thickness of the sheets used in the engine foundation to reduce stress and mass simultaneously.The results show that at equal stresses at critical points it decreases by about ۱۳% and the stress distribution also gets better.
