Today, polymer wound dressings are one of the most widely used wound dressings around the world because conventional dressings are cost-effective and highly absorbent, but not effectual enough to promote hemostasis, adherence and in holding a moist wound bed. High absorption capacity, comfortable andconformable, using under compression and absorbing exudate to help reduce odor and toxins from the wound are the most important predominance of polymer wound dressing. In this paper, we introduce a polymer dressing using flaxseed mucilage as an herbal substance for effective wound healing is introduced. The primary herbal substance used in this wound dressing is flaxseed mucilage. Also, for investigating the behavior of this novel polymer dressing, solubility test, moisture test, and FE-SEM test are conducted on the proposed polymer wound dressing. Finding demonstrate that the proposed polymer wound dressing can be made as an economical and effective polymer dressing in order to heal wounds
