Iran is considered as an arid and semi-arid country and the amount of water and its consumption is very important in such a country. Giventhat agriculture is one the largest consumers of water, it is important to change farming practices to conserve water. It is important to use methods that do not consume much water. One of these methods is called hydroponics. This study was carried out aimed to select a suitableplace to build a hydroponic greenhouse that is used for cultivation and production of strawberries. The present study has focused on strawberryexports. Exports of strawberries as fresh fruit and processed products will be highly profitable. This study was carried out in one of theprovinces of Iran. Several counties have been evaluated to build hydroponic greenhouse based on different criteria in this study. Surveyshave been made of officials and experts. The AHP method has been used to make the best decision. Pairwise comparison was use tocompare different counties, and finally, the county with the highest weight is introduced to build a greenhouse
