SnO2 nano-structures are widely used in energy storage devices. Growth of SnO2 nanowires on a heavily conductive and light substrates such as carbon fiber, enables the fabrication of proper electrodes for Lithium ion batteries and supercapacitors. This manuscript reports the synthesis of SnO2 nanowires on carbon fiber. Nanowires with diameter of about 100 nm have been successfully synthesized on the substrate. The fabricated structure can be used as a potential electrode for energy devices.
