چکیده مقاله:

There is a growing interest on the Graphene based nanomaterials, due to their excellent mechanical flexibility, superior electrical conductivity, high thermal and chemical stability and microbial properties. Generally, graphene based nanomaterials are commonly prepared by chemical reduction method. reduction is a crucial step in synthesizing and exercising geraphene nanosheets, which helps in restoring its structure. Common methods for reduction of GO is usually carried out by treatment with hydrazine, hydrazine monohydrate, sodium borohydride and hydrogen sulfide which are toxic and non-environmental friendly. In this study for the first time, a green method was introduced to reduce GO using pomegranate peel extract. pomegranate peel has been applied as a primary, abundant, cheap and available precursor to produce green reducing agent. In the process of producing nanoparticles, operation time is a predominant factor which was affected on resultant graphene. Due to optimize production method, the effect of operation time on the purity of the produced graphene were analyzed using different method such as: Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) . The results obtained from the characterization techniques proved high purity of the final products and provided the new insights into the green reduction of GO by pomegranate peel extract.
