Computer Integrated Manufacturing Implementation and Improvement Measuring

Recently, the effect of technology and computer software and hardwarein industry is inevitable and manufacturing systems should considerthese technologies and changes in their systems in order to compete inthis complex market. In this paper, the implementation of ComputerIntegrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems is introduced and the effectsof this system in a case study is analyzed and measured. Theimplementation stages are introduced based on the all elements of CIMand its details. The measuring of improvement is investigated related toCAD, CAM and computer commercial system. The costs ofimplementation and resources allocated for this system is analyzed too.
