خلاصه مقاله:
The huge volume of protein data allows researchers to do variant process on sequences and structures including DSSP algorithm to generate DSSP and HSSP data. DSSP is an algorithm that standardizes the secondary structure [4]. HSSP is a process that has been performed on DSSP to identify similar proteins using the BLAST algorithm [5,6] and evaluate nucleotide positions [1,2,3]. The HSSP actually find homologous proteins and determines the variant of amino acids at each position [1,2,3].There is a lot of information in a HSSP result file that is not easy to extract. This tool could make HSSP files easier to understand by showing HSSP data on protein 3D structure. In addition to display protein 3D structure, this tool colors amino acids based on their conservation in the proteins of its family. Simultaneous representation of the 3D structure of the protein and the degree of conservation of residues can be useful for protein engineering
