فضاهای عمومی فضاهاییاند که در آن ها تعامل چهره به چهره میان افراد در هر جنس و سن وجود دارد، لذا میتواند برای استفاده برخی گروهها مثل زنان ناامن باشد. یکی از راهکارهایی که در ایران برای افزایش امنیت فضاهای شهری برای زنان به کار گرفته شده، تفکیک جنسیتی در این فضاها است. پژوهش حاضر سعی دارد با کاربرد ترکیبی از روشهای کمی و کیفی به بررسی عوامل موثر بر میزان رضایتمندی از تفکیک جنسیتی در فضاهای عمومی (پارکها) بپردازد. به منظور بررسی جوانب مختلف موضوع، از میان فضاهای عمومی که در آنها تفکیک جنسیتی صورت پذیرفته، «پارکها» انتخاب شده است. روشهای استفاده شده در این تحقیق مصاحبه، مشاهده، بحث گروهی و پیمایش است که در روش پیمایش با استفاده از نمونهگیری احتمالی انتخابی، ۶ منطقه از شهر تهران انتخاب شده و ۳۲۴ پرسشنامه در این مناطق پر شده است. نتایج تحقیق نشان دادند که ۴۰ درصد از پاسخ گویان از تفکیک جنسیتی در پارکها راضی و ۶۰ درصد ناراضی بودهاند و میزان احساس ناامنی زنان در پارکهای عمومی، میزان مذهبی و سنتی بودن فرد و خانواده او، میزان تفکرات فمینیستی افراد، میزان استفاده از پارکهای بانوان و عمومی و رضایت از سایر جوانب زندگی بر میزان رضایت افراد از تفکیک جنسیتی در پارکها تاثیر دارد.abstract  An Examination of Public Satisfaction with Gender Division in Public Spaces with Particular Focus on Public Parks Novin TavallayiAmir Akbari GhamsariFateme Khaksar  Abstract Public spaces, where there are face-to-face relations and interactions between people of different ages and sexes, can feel insecure to some groups like women. “Gender division,” is one among several strategies used to increase the security of urban public spaces and decrease the unnecessary intermixture of the two sexes. The present research is an attempt to investigate the factors affecting the degree of satisfaction with gender division patterns in public spaces using a survey-based method. Among public places in which gender division has been implemented, public parks have been selected with the explicit aim of investigating the diverse aspects of the subject. A survey-based method is used in the present study, based on which six areas of the city of Tehran has been selected using selective-probabilistic sampling. Questionnaires were administered to ۳۲۴ individuals. The results showed that ۴۰% of the respondents were satisfied with gender division in parks, while ۶۰% were not. Furthermore, the degree of insecurity felt by women in public parks, the degree of religiosity among individuals and their families, the prevalence of feminist thoughts  among individuals, the degree of using all-female public parks, and finally satisfaction with other aspects of life were found to have an impact on the individuals’ satisfaction with Gender division arrangements in public parks. Keywords: Satisfaction, gender division, public spaces, public parks, all-female parks, Tehran
