خلاصه مقاله:
The effect of nanosilver and barium sulfate fillers on mechanical properties of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) hollow fibers was investigated. In this study, the blends of EVA (VA = 18wt%) with 5, 10 and 20wt% of barium sulfate (BS) and 1wt% nanosilver were prepared. Tensile strength and elongation at break were measured and compared. The results show that the addition of 1wt% nanosilver increases tensile strength of EVA. While various amounts of barium sulfate decrease tensile strength of EVA. Both of fillers decline elongation at break. The SEM micrographs of samples indicate tendency of barium sulfate to form the agglomeration compared with nanosilver particles
