خلاصه مقاله:
ABSTRACT The present research concentrates on water-energy cost minimization through developing a mathematical model for near-optimal pump schedules to offer an applicable decision-making approach for optimizing water supply reliability. Suggested modeling execution was conducted by recommending a three-stage validation method composed of prediction, estimation, and optimization engines. Water demand prediction, and simulation processes, respectively, are manipulated by developing a data-driven machine and utilizing some application programming interfaces (APIs). In the optimization engine, a dynamic random search (DDS) algorithm was arranged to adapt the control strategy to the existing conditions. The results reveal that the predictions carried out by the composite estimators represent lesser variance than those made by single estimators. And consequently, are more successful in generating a robust estimate in the test set.
