Human’s interaction with other beings takes place based on knowledge and understanding. Because of that when a knowledge has been acquired using one method and one faculty and one cognitive way, the process of proving it will be based on the very same method using the same faculty and the same cognitive way. Hence it would not be possible to reject or neglect the proof of a rational argument that is being expressed using rational faculties and logical reasons with sciences using experiment or even by the mean of narrative sciences. Per that principle, this article is after discovering theological methodology of Shaykh Saduq within his religious and belief thoughts. Despite of including the word methodology in the title of this paper, the main intention is the method of reading and the methodology of Saduq which gets recalled in the contrast between his theological thoughts and other theological phrases. In doing so the method of analysis – description along with gathering information based on valid documents has been used in this paper. The result of this paper shows that the methodology of Shaykh Saduq in relation with theological phrases was based on intellect and reason. In another word despite of what is common that Saduq is a narrative and traditionalist theologian, it is good to consider him as a rational and noetic theologian rather than being a traditionalist or just a narrative person (Muhaddeth)
