خلاصه مقاله:
Plant pathology is the science that studies the causes of plant diseases, the mechanisms by which diseasesdevelop in individual plants and in plant populations, and the ways and means by which plant diseases canbe managed or controlled. Bioinformatics applies information technologies to the allied fields of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, biotechnology, microbiology, plant physiology and molecular biology. Bioinformaticsdevises strategies for data management, analysis and integration tools that enable rapid scientific discoveryand informed decision making. In plant pathology, the ‘contemporary’ application stage of bioinformatics istypically after a pathogen has been identified as a causative agent for a given plant host and subjected tobiotechnological studies. pathogenicity is defined as the capability of a pathogen to cause disease, andvirulence is defined as "the degree of pathogenicity of a given pathogen. α-Tomatine is a saponin found intomato plants, in high concentrations Many fungal pathogens of tomato produce extracellularenzymes(phytoanticipin), collectively known as tomatinase, that detoxify the preformed antifungal steroidalglycoalkaloid alpha- tomatine. In the present study, amino acid sequences related to proteins involved intomatinase synthesis in several genera of fungi and bacteria plant pathogenic were extracted from databasesand clustered by MEGA۷ software. Comparison of sequences at different levels showed significantsimilarities and differences, including the placement of each gene in different clones and the similarity ofsequences in the genera Clavibacter and Streptomyces, the similarity of sequences between species. Fusariumtricinctum, Colletotrichum truncatum as well as Clavibacter michiganensis. Given the importance ofphytoanticipin, these differences and similarities may be candidates for further bioinformatics studies.
