خلاصه مقاله:
Two MIL metal organic framework materials with high stability were utilized as catalysts in the selective oxidation of ۵-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) to ۲,۵-diformylfuran (DFF) with tert-butylhydroperoxide (۷۰% aqueous) as an oxidant in acetonitrile. MIL۱۰۰ (Fe) exhibits more conversion (۵۸%) comparing to MIL۱۰۱ (Fe) under the same conditions. It appears that this specific material would open up a new pathway for MOFs towards the mentioned catalytic oxidation. DFF is a key chemical and can be used in organic synthesis and functional polymer manufacture.
