Frictional properties in fluids usually cause pressure drops in pipes. This causes energy loss (head) in thefluid flow. Minor losses also play a significant role in pipe flow to reduce total fluid energy. This reportattempts to compare theoretical and experimental minor losses in various fittings and finds that the valuesobtained from the lab results are higher than those obtained from the references. It turns out that the energyloss in laboratory experiments is more than a theoretical aspect. The lab report considers different pipingsystem parts, such as straight pipes, elbows, and valves Different graphs plotted based on the flow rate,friction factor, pressure loss and etc.
