Ni-Co/Al2O3-ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by impregnation, treated with glow discharge plasma, and characterized by XRD, FESEM, BET and FTIRtechniques. The results showed that plasma treated catalyst had higher dispersion, smaller particle size and uniform morphology. Improved morphologyresults in a 20-30% enhancement in catalyst activity of plasma treated catalyst rather than impregnated catalysts in dry reforming of methane. Plasma treatedcatalyst duo to smaller Ni particles, and strong interaction between active phase and support has less tendency to keep carbon species on its structure and hence excellent stability can be observed for plasma treated catalyst
