خلاصه مقاله:
Glow discharge plasma was used for treatment of Ni/Al2O3 and Ni/Al2O3-MgO catalysts for dry reforming of methane. Assessment of these catalystsin quartz packed bed reactor in atmospheric pressure with CH4/CO2=1, exhibited 15-20% enhancement in catalyst activity of Ni/Al2O3-MgO rather thanNi/Al2O3 catalyst. Enhancement of GHSV decreased activity of both catalysts but activity reduction of Ni/Al2O3-MgO was less drastic. Both catalysts hadgood carbon resistance that reveals effect of plasma in creating anti coke catalysts in dry reforming environment. According to characterization of XRD,BET, FTIR and FESEM, better catalytic activity of MgO promoted catalyst was duo to uniform morphology, smaller aggregation of particles and welldispersion of active phase
