Investigation of the factors affecting the livability of cities with a sustainable development approach

this study attempts to investigate the factors affecting the livability of the city with the sustainable development approach in several metropolises. Urban planning is a specialized and complex concept that is combined with other components such as urban livability, sustainable development. In other words, sustainable development and livability, which are the main bases of urban planning, are also an integral part of it. According to studies conducted in recent decades, the instability of urban development has been introduced as the most important challenge of the present century. It should be noted that sustainable development is involved in urban growth and planning and livability and is designed for basic purposes including economic, cultural and environmental issues. Urban livability is one of the main foundations of sustainable urban development, which emphasizes the increase in public awareness in various dimensions, including modern urbanization. The livability approach basically means the ability of a place to meet the biological needs of its residents, it must be said that these needs are divided into material and immaterial needs. In the meantime, the traces of sustainable development will certainly be evident, it should be said that the subjects of sustainable development and urban livability are in order to improve the quality of life and create a suitable opportunity for the flourishing the abilities of the general public. Because the factors affecting the livability of cities as well as the sustainable development approach are important in urban planning. The results showed that the factors affecting urban livability are divided into several main economic, social, security and sustainability, environment, health, physical, education and transportation categories.
