The fauna of the subfamily Exoristinae (Diptera, Tachinidae) was studied in northern Iran. A total of ۲۹ species within ۲۶ genera and ۶ tribes have been collected and identified. Among them ۱۱ genera and ۱۵ species are newly recorded for Tachinidae fauna of Iran: Admontia blanda (Fallén, ۱۸۲۰), Bessa parallela (Meigen, ۱۸۲۴), Blepharipa pratensis (Meigen, ۱۸۲۴), Ceracia mucronifera Rondani, ۱۸۶۵, Exorista rustica (Fallen, ۱۸۱۰), Gonia ornata Meigen, ۱۸۲۶, Gonia vacua Meigen, ۱۸۲۶,  Medina collaris (Fallén, ۱۸۲۰), Paratryphera barbatula (Rondani, ۱۸۵۹), Neophryxe vallina (Rondani, ۱۸۶۱), Ocytata pallipes (Fallén, ۱۸۲۰), Pachystylum bremii Macquart, ۱۸۴۸, Pales pavida (Meigen, ۱۸۲۴), Phorinia aurifrons Robineau-Desvoidy, ۱۸۳۰, Platymyia fimbriata Meigen, ۱۸۲۴. The collected and distribution data, diagnoses, illustrations of the new records, and host information are provided.
