In the automotive industry, optimizing the vehicle'saerodynamic performance is important because it affectsspeed, acceleration, stability, controllability, fuelconsumption, and environmental pollution. In thisnumerical research applying Ansys Fluent software, theeffects of using air ducts in different areas of front andrear of the body in a Sedan car was investigated. Thepurpose is to investigate aerodynamic coefficients bytransferring airflow from higher-pressure areas to lowerpressureareas around the car body to attain a generalviewpoint of their performance. The results showed theappropriate effect of aerodynamic forces in all models. Inthe front aerodynamics modification, the most decrease indrag coefficient occurred by connecting the front bumperto the front wheelhouse by ۱۰.۵%, while the mostdecrease in lift coefficient was ۱۶.۵% when the flow wastransferred to the hood. In the rear aerodynamicsmodification, by transferring airflow from the rearwheelhouse to the rear bumper, the drag coefficient wasreduced by ۱۶% and the lift coefficient was reduced by۱۶.۵%.
