This study aims to numerically analyze the steady three dimensional laminar flow of different fluids in MHD micropumps using ANSYS Fluent software. MHD micropumps are small scale pumps that transport fluids through microchannels without moving parts, using the Lorentz force generated by the interaction of an electric field and a magnetic field. We consider three different fluids: liquid gallium, NaCl aqueous solution, and seawater. We investigate the velocity profiles of the fluids and the effect of changing the microchannel geometry on them. We find that the Lorentz force is not sufficient to pump the fluid if the friction is dominant. We also find that NaCl solution has the highest peak velocity, followed by seawater and gallium, when the channel width is fixed at ۱۰mm and the depth is varied
