خلاصه مقاله:
In the age of modern computers, efficient numerical algorithms, and sophisticated software packages, students are able to solve real-life problems which, were the subject of research theses of PhD students a decade ago. With the advent of multiphysics software, it is possible to deal with problems in transport phenomena and chemical reaction engineering in two and three dimensions with all their complexity. The present paper shows how students in chemical engineering discipline are introduced to a computer aided modeling and design course to learn creative thinking and creative problem solving.
