خلاصه مقاله:
A new mixed-ligand complex [۱] has been synthesized by the reaction of Co(II) ion with ۲-(۲-(۲-Hydroxyethylamino)ethylamino)cyclohexanol (HEAC) in the presence of pyridine-۲,۶-dicarboxylic acid, (PDCA), and identified by elemental analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy. In thecomplex, the HEAC coordinates through two N-atoms, and PDC coordinates through one N- andtwo O- which forms three five-membered chelate rings. As shown in Figure ۱, the coordinationnumber of the complex is ۵. The τ value is calculated to be ۰.۱۰ for the Co atom, indicating adistorted square-pyramidal geometry [۲]. The data obtained from molecular docking revealed thatthe complex has a higher docking score than the doxorubicin in reaction to CatB protein, thus wesuggest that the anticancer activity of this compound will be studied (Figure ۲).
