This research was conducted with the aim of examining the predictive role of communication patterns in the quality of life and cognitive flexibility of patients with traumatic brain injury. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of method. The statistical population of the research included all patients with traumatic brain injury in Imam Ali (AS) Hospital and Khatam Al-Anbia Hospital in Zahedan city in the years ۲۰۲۲-۲۰۲۳, with a total number of ۱۰۰ individuals, and due to the limited statistical population, ۴۰ individuals were selected as the sample according to the Morgan table. Data were collected using Christensen and Sulavay communication patterns questionnaire (CPQ) (۱۹۹۲), Weber and Sherbon patients’ quality of life questionnaire (۱۹۹۲) and Denay and Vanaderval’s cognitive flexibility questionnaire (۲۰۱۰). Correlation and regression test was used for the data analysis in SPSS۲۴software. The results showed that a significant relationship was observed between the mutual constructive communication pattern and the quality of life variable, and it was able to predict the quality of life of patients. Also, there is a meaningful relationship between the variable components of cognitive flexibility and variable of communication patterns, and control components were able to predict communication patterns.
