Glycol solutions are used to absorb water and possible moisture in natural gas flow in gas processing units. The purpose of this research is to investigate the corrosion rate in the regeneration and recycling system of glycol in the gas processing unit. This research has been done in a laboratory, for this purpose, written coupons are used to determine the rate and speed of corrosion in the unit of glycol. The duration of the tests is ۱۷۶ days. The results of this research have shown that the highest amount of corrosion is in the incoming glycol route to the Surge Drum (۱.۱۸۰۶gr) and the lowest amount is in the outgoing water from the glycol recovery unit(۰.۰۷۱۲).
