Background: The development of smart phones and social networks has significantly increased the level of internet addiction among students. This addiction can increase the time spent on the Internet, reduce physical activity and sleep time, increase alcohol and tobacco consumption. Kirkpatrick's model is one of the most useful evaluation models.This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of virtual space addiction training workshop based on Kirkpatrick's model in eighth grade female students.Methodology: The semi-experimental research was carried out in the form of pre-test-post-test. ۶۵ eligible students participated in the study with purposive sampling. The data collection tool was Survey for first level, and to measure the second stage of this model, Zhang's internet addiction knowledge and attitude questionnaire was used in the pre-test and post-test stages. Workshop Training was held in two ۴۵-minute sessions and one session every week.Findings: Data analysis at the first level of the model that shows satisfaction of training workshop. Internet knowledge before and after the intervention does not show a significant difference (P=۰.۲۸۱). After the intervention, the attitude towards the Internet increased and was shown to be significant (P=۰.۰۰۰).Conclusion: The findings show that holding an educational workshop can cause changes in the attitude of Internet addiction among students.
