The production of clean and sustainable energy in Tehran through the management of surface water and flood control poses a fundamental challenge for environmental preservation and meeting the energy needs of society. Given the city's environmental and economic challenges, employing innovative solutions in this area can lead to significant improvements. Hydroelectric energy is considered one of the primary sources of clean energy production, according to available statistics. Hydroelectric power plants with substantial production capacity, along with the use of solar panels and wind turbines as secondary energy sources, can not only help meet the city's energy needs but also contribute to reducing air pollution and preserving water resources.Moreover, the use of smart systems for managing water resources and optimizing the utilization of surface water and floodwaters can reduce water loss and increase efficiency in water consumption.In summary, this article explores solutions for clean energy production in Tehran through the management of surface water and flood control, demonstrating that by leveraging innovative technologies and optimally utilizing water resources, it is possible to establish a sustainable energy system and environmentally friendly environment in the city.
