خلاصه مقاله:
adsorption equilibrium of CO2 and CH4 on nanoporous metal organic framework Cu-BTC powder was measured in a magnetic suspension microbalance (Rubotherm, Germany) in the pressurerange of 0 to 7 bar and three temperatures 308, 343, and 373 K and fitted with the Langmuir model. Isosteric heats of adsorption were obtained 22.8 and 14.9 kJ/mol for CO2 and CH4 on Cu-BTC powder respectively, which indicates a strong adsorption ofcarbon dioxide on this type of adsorbent. Also, the adsorption capacity of Cu-BTC powder is 2.57 mol/ kg for methane and 9.38 mol/ kg for carbon dioxide at4 bar and 308 K. The small nonliearity of the isotherms and also preferential and high adsorption capacity of CO2 on this adsorbent indicates that Cu-BTC in the shaped form can be used for biogas upgrading to produce biomethane and reduce fossilfuel CO2.
