خلاصه مقاله:
The paper aims at investigating the seismic retrofitting methods for walls and ceiling of two- storey masonry schools and the choice of optimum method. Therefore, to retrofit the walls of schools as educational spaces, there practical methods of retrofitting were examined and compared. Among them, according to the technical, economic parameters and performance speed, reinforce merit of walls using the shotcrete method was introduced as optimum method. Additionally, to retrofit ceilings two methods were studied and based on economic parameters and speed and ease of implementation, the ceiling wiring harness method is proposed as optimum method.
