A novel phosphoramide compound with formula 3-Cl,2-CF3NHP(O)X2 where X = NH-CH2-CH=CH2 was synthesized and used as a flame retardant material on cotton fabrics to increase its fire resistance properties. The experiments were performed by padding method. The treated fabrics were studied by TGA/DSC and FE-SEM analyses.
