خلاصه مقاله:
Rotor dynamic systems are found in most industrial units, and contain shaft/rotor elements that are highly susceptible to transverse cross sectional cracks due to fatigue. The early detection of mechanical malfunction that can be provided by an effective vibration monitoring system is essential. In this paper the influence of the presence of transverse cracks in a rotating shaft containing a disk in its middle section is analyzed using a semi-analytical model. Crack presence signatures are determined and illustrated. The presented method can be generalized using generic element concept to both analysis and detection of a crack in a rotor system. In this paper, only the analysis part is presented.
