خلاصه مقاله:
CO2 injection has been considered as one of the important methods of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) as well as a reduction remedy for greenhouse gas emission. CO2 can be injected in two ways as the purpose of EOR: miscible and immiscible. In the immiscible CO2 injection, the main goal is pushing reservoir oil to production wells. This paper presents the result of modeling of CO2 injection on one of the Iranian fractured reservoir using commercial reservoir simulator, Eclipse 100. To model the fractures, the dual porosity model of kezemi is applied. There are different important parameters that have a direct impact on the recovery of this method. These parameters include well pattern, well completion, rate of injection, and injection pressure. The objective of this study was to reveal the best scenario for oil production programs by considering the sensitivity analysis on the key important parameters.
