خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, an analytical thermostatic solution of a simply supported rectangular functionally graded elastic plate using first and higher order shear deformation theories ispresented. Results are presented for isotropic two-constituent metal-ceramic FG plates that have a power law thorough-the-thickness variation of the constituents. The effective material propertiesexcept the Poisson’s ratio at a point are estimated by both the Rule of Mixture and Mori-Tanaka schemes. Numerical results of the linear first order and third order shear deformation theories under thermostatic loads are presented to show the effect of material distribution on the deflectionand stresses. It is found that in general, the response of plates with material properties between those of the ceramic and metal is not intermediate to the response of the ceramic and metal plates. Results are found to agree well with the solution of the problem by finite element method.
