This paper proposes a new configuration todemagnetize the forward converter isolation transformer bychanges in conventional converter. The proposed methodincreases the converter’s efficiency and decreases the voltagestress on the switch. The aim of the new configuration is to injectthe stored energy into the load, as a consequence thereforeeliminating the necessity of using an energy absorbing source.Comparing simulation results and steady state analysis confirmsthe practicality of the proposed method.
