خلاصه مقاله:
MCM-41/Cu(BDC) hybrid was synthesized by fast and facile microwave method. Adsorption properties of CH4 and CO2 of MCM-41, Cu(BDC) MOF and their hydride were investigated by volumetric method. The samples were characterized by means of FTIR analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). The CO2 and CH4 adsorption capacity of the hybrid was 5.01 and 1.74 mmol/g at 303.15 K/19 bar respectively which was lower than parent materials. However the synthesized hybrid showed 20% increase in the selectivity for adsorption of CO2 compared to CH4 which revealed the high capability of MCM-41/Cu(BDC) hybrid for separation applications.
