خلاصه مقاله:
The capability of zeolite to remove cadmium from aqueous solution was investigated. The results showedthat the Cd2+ sorption behaviour was highly dependent on the pH. Sorption data were interpreted in terms of Langmuirand Freundlich equations. As a result, sorption isotherms of Cd2+ ions could be best modelled by the Langmuirequation. Thus, the Langmuir expression was developed for Cd2+, respectively. With respect to the results, zeolite hasa particularly high potential for Cd2+ removal.
