The adsorption zinc on the iron oxide coated zeolite (FeOCZ) from aqueous solution was investigated in batch mode. Experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of pH, the initial concentration of metals and contact time on the adsorption of ions. According to the results, the adsorption of ions on iron oxide coated zeolite increased with the enhancement of initial Zn(II) concentrations and contact time a. The results showed that at the initial times, the adsorption rate of Cu and Cd was more than 90%.The amount of Zn2+ adsorption with the iron oxide coated zeolite is equal to 7 mg/g. It was shown that at the concentrations below 100 ppm, the amount of adsorption was rapid and almost all heavy metals were absorbed.
