Ultrasonic assisted removal of methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution by a magnetic mesoporousnanocomposite (Fe3O4 nanoparticles loaded on N-(2hydroxyethyl) salicylaldimine(HESI)-SBA-15) was focused in thisstudy. The effect of various parameters such as pH, initial dye concentration, adsorbent dosage, ionic strength,temperature and sonication time on MB removal were investigated by a fractional factorial design to identifysignificant variables and their interactions. The results demonstrated that temperature and ionic strength had noconsiderable effect on the results.
