خلاصه مقاله:
Ammonium perchlorate is the most common oxidizer in composite solid propellants. Thermal decomposition characteristics of AP particles influence on the combustion behavior of the propellants. Wide range of ammonium perchlorate decomposition temperature and high activation energy are the main disadvantages which can be reduced by addition of nano-catalysts. In this study the effects of nano-coating of copper acetylacetonate on the ammonium perchlorate properties will be studied by differential scanning calorimetric (DSC). The lowering of temperature decomposition and a higher heat release in presence of nanocatalyat confirmed the catalytic activity of copper acetylacetonate. Finally, the kinetic parameters of the decomposition reaction of the Ammonium Perchlorate/nano catalyst composite will be examined by using Kissinger method.
