خلاصه مقاله:
Polymer supported heterogeneous reagents and catalysts are becoming popular in organic transformationssince they offer advantages such as easy work up, and recyclability. Cross-linked poly (4-vinylpyridine) supportedthiocyanate ion[P4-VP]SCN, is used as an efficient polymeric reagent for synthesis of thiiranes from Epoxidesundersolvent-free conditions. The reactions take place very fast under solvent-free conditions and thethiiranes are prepared inhigh yields at 50°C. The spent polymeric reagent is removed by a simple filtration and is regenerated and reused forseveral times without losing its activity.
