خلاصه مقاله:
Creation artificial fractures are a widely used method for stimulation of the wells to increase the oil and gas production. In hydraulic fracturing the cracks are expanded from the wellbore to the producing formation. This technology has been used worldwide and now also is in deployment. The proper use of this stimulation method can improve the reservoir rock permeability. Therefore this method can play an effective role in improving the productivity index of oil and gas wells. In this study, hydraulic fracturing has been compositionally simulated in a heavy oil reservoir in southwest of Iran. The goal of this paper is evaluating the productivity of different oil layers after performing the hydraulic fracturing. Hence the different layers of studied reservoir have been selected for hydraulic fracturing propagation. Then the layers which have had the greatest cumulative oil production were recognized as candidate layers for hydraulic fracturing treatment.
