Fast environmental changes and technology have influence on organization. Organization's improvement is empowering operational processes and human forces within organization for improving performance quality. Strategic alignment is improves in achieving to stable comparative advantage and business performance and is regarded as one of key aspects of strategic planning of information systems.Purpose of researchThe aim of present study is to examine effect of alignment of business technology with the role of organizational learning on business performance. Population of study consists of all of small and medium active enterprises in industrial parks of Ilam province.Research methodologyIt is an applied study in terms of purpose and based on how to obtain required data, it is regarded as a correlative- descriptive research. Sample size of 291 was calculated through Cochran's formula. In addition sampling method is simple random sampling.Data analysis tools Research 's questionnaire was designed based on Luftman's alignment maturity questionnaire, Nief organizational learning questionnaire, and Holly et al business performance questionnaire, whose content and face validity were confirmed by experts in management and marketing, and its reliability was conformed with Cronbach alpha of 0.96. In order to analyze questionnaire's data, statistical indices such as frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, regressionin SPSS and LISREL were applied.Results Strategic alignment without role of learning with factor of 0.11 has a significant effect on organizational performance and it has 0.11 effect in path analysis with role of learning. In addition, respecting results of test's results, structural equations model with alignment of 0.15 has an effect on business performance
