خلاصه مقاله:
Skin Cancer has been the most usual and illustrates 50% of all new cancers detected each year. Early detection of this skin cancer can improve the cure rate. While it is not common in the skin cancers, but it mostly leads to death. If they be detected at an early stage, treatment can become simple and economical. Accurate skin lesion segmentation is important in automated early skin cancer detection and diagnosis systems. One of the most important steps in lesion image analysis is the automated detection of lesion borders. The aim of this study is to provide an efficient way to segment the skin cancer images. A novel method is proposed that uses thresholding technique and fuzzy system for the segmentation of skin Lesions from skin region in an image. The success rate of correct segmentation of the proposed techniques is in the order of 75% for a complex dataset from different references.
