خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper buckling of simply supported rectangular isotropic plates with circular or rectangular cutout is investigated. The plate is considered as a thin plate and, based on the classical plate theory; an analytical solution for this plate subjected to unidirectional in-plane compression is developed. The displacement field is assumed by the form of Fourier series, which satisfies the boundary condition of a simply supported plate. The buckling load is computed using Rayleigh-Ritz method. The presented method could be applied to the rectangular plate with an arbitrary eccentric cutout shape. In this paper the numerical results are illustrated for square plate with central circular or square hole, and the effect of the cutout shape is investigated. In order to validate the obtained results, a FEM analysis is also carried out by implementing ABAQUS CAE software. In addition, the results are compared with those available in the literatures. The fairly good agreement among the results is observed which can demonstrate the capability and versatility of the presented method. The results show that increasing the size of the cutout decrease the buckling load dramatically. It is also observed that for the holes with the same area, the shape of the cutout has no significant effect on the critical bucking load of the perforated plate
