This paper evaluate the effects of sand grains, with various granulating-gradation mixed with bentonite as well as polypropylene fibers with various length mixing with bentonite as potential stabilizers on shrinkage properties of the mixtures. The study has been preceded with considerable tests for measuring shrinkage limit in mixture samples. The mixtures consisting of sand – bentonite with volume ratio as ۰, ۱۰, ۲۰, ۳۰, ۴۰, ۵۰, ۶۰, ۷۰, ۸۰ and ۹۰% and mixture consisting of bentonite – polypropylene fibers and metal fibers – bentonite with volume ۰, ۱۰, ۲۰, ۳۰, ۴۰, ۵۰, ۶۰, ۷۰ and ۸۰% has been made ready for shrinkage limit tests. Then the samples have been evaluated and analyzed separately after that compares them with each other to make a reliable analogical experiment
