The essential oil of the aerial parts of Stachys pilifera was isolated by hydro-distillation. The chemical composition of volatile oil was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. The main components were found to be: Bicyclopentadiene (%48.92), Caryolan-.-ol (4892), Beta-selinene (.86.2), .a,6-Methano-.aH-inden-9-d (%8%%2), Spathulenol (%8012).
