خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, at first, a modified version of inclined planes system optimization (IPO) algorithm is introduced based on an effective trade-off between the concepts of exploitation and exploration (called MIPO). Then, it is utilized as an efficient solution for infinite impulse response (IIR) filter design. IPO is inspired by the dynamics of sliding motion along a frictionless inclined surface. IIR modeling is a challenging and complex optimization problem due to multimodal error surface entanglement. So that, global optimization techniques are preferred in order to avoid local minima. To do this, unknown filter parameters are considered as a vector to be optimized. Obtained results in compared with similar researches, confirm the efficiency of the proposed method that makes the best optimal model and has a better performance in global convergence and acceptable estimated model
